As suggested by the previously leaked images, the bezel-less, full-screen model would be the Huawei Mate 10 Pro instead. We took a look at the leaks that emerged a few weeks ago, although it is not clear whether they are accurate or not.

Huawei will be launching three new Mate smartphones in less than a week at an event to be held on 16th October. The handset will be powered by company's homegrown Kirin 970 SoC. Recently, a promotional poster emerged in China, and it reveals more details regarding the Huawei Mate 10 specs. Even though there still is nearly a week to go until the unveiling of the new smartphones, it's highly likely we will hear more about them before they launch.

A leaked image posted on the Chinese social networking site Weibo shows the Mate 10 sporting a 6.2-inch display with a 2160 x 1080-pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The image also lists the Mate 10 as having a 20-megapixel and 23-megapixel dual rear camera setup from camera manufacturing giant Leica.

The smartphone will pack a 4,000mAh Li-ion battery, the same battery capacity as its predecessors. Given these specifications, the Huawei Mate 10 will face tough competition from Apple, Samsung, and Google.

Regardless of the stipulations involved with the Mate 9, the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are certain to be the first Huawei devices to come equipped with Android Oreo. Some limited edition smartphones are catered towards those who really like a particular design or branding, and their price tags are often much heftier as a result.

Earlier this month serial tech tipster Evan Blass leaked photos of the Mate 10 Pro. The Mate 10 will most likely offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and fast battery charging support. However, the names haven't been released publicly yet. There are talks that the smartphone will run on Android 8.0 with Huawei's own UI on top.
